Designed to train aspiring Chartered Certified Accountants, my undergraduate ACCA program has not only equipped me with a solid foundation in business, which can be exemplified by my 90+ grades in advanced courses in finance and accounting, but also cultivated my strategic thinking and analytic skills. I once took the course of Operation Capital Management and led a team to complete a research. We analyzed financials of two famous snack food companies so as to explore which is the reasonable behavior of enterprise transformation decision, diversification strategy or merger and acquisition. Such practice on the firm-level and external factors that influence decisions made in financial management charm me and will augment my professional abilities.

Graduating from an undergraduate ACCA programme with top grades in advanced courses in finance and accounting such as Financial Management(89/100) and Management Accounting(100/100) demonstrates that I have the potential to excel in an academically rigorous environ-ment. I was born in Xian. Xi’an is a place with more than 2000 years of history and it was also the start of silk road in Han Dynasty. I began to show interest in ancient culture because of Xi’an’s influence. When I was young I really loved to know about history and archaeology, I kept my dream when I grew up and even today I love them. The love for history and archaeology guided me to become an interesting student. The great buildings and cities I see everyday reminds me of the history and I became eager to learn about how complex societies were formed with different ways.
